Victoria Jane Hayward
Victoria has written in the past as Tory Hayward, and her early books are published under that name. Victoria is her given name, but she’s known as Tory to family and friends.
After a hiatus from publishing Tory is currently working on a historical fiction, When The Earth Stood Still, set in 17th Century Florence.
Tory began writing in 2005. Exhausted, pregnant (sure she was going to DIE from morning-sickness) and coping with a demanding toddler, Tory decided the time was right to embark on a writing career.
It did work out. Tory’s debut novel - and the first manuscript she’d ever written - Running Scared - was published in January 2007. This was followed by a novella and three more books. Several of those stories are now available on Amazon.

Mostly can be described as lacks dignity. Riddled with anxiety and inappropriate commentary. Likes History and dogs. Writes books. Never late. Lives in Wollongong. Drinks either coffee or Prosecco depending on the time of day and stress levels. Usually found at the beach or lurking in a library. Has renovated her house from top to bottom. Owns a chainsaw and knows how to use it.
